While we were in Vegas a few weeks ago, Andy’s parents got married after 25 years together! Full sh’bang with Elvis and everything, it was so much fun. I have some pictures from the shenanigans over on my instagram if you’re feeling nosy. Some family and friends weren’t able to make it over to Vegas for the ceremony so they decided to throw a bit of a hoolie back in Dublin for everyone that couldn’t make it.
I decided to pop up some photos to show you what I wore. I’ve been seriously struggling to find nice dresses that fit well in the shops at the moment so I went for jeans and heels.
I say jeans, they are the Penneys jeans which I class more as trousers but they are so damn comfy that they are the only ones I wear. Being extremely curvy (particularily in the rear end area) I find it really difficult to find jeans that fit right, but the Penneys ‘curve fit’ are amazing! They fit snug around my waist – no gapes here – without being too tight on my hips and bum. I bought this navy pair last week on a flying visit to Penneys in Nutgrove (which they’ve recently done up, I recommend a visit) to add to my collection.
The shoes are also Penneys which I have had for ages but not worn anywhere. I even brought them to America with me but they didn’t even see the outside of my suitcase. They are super high and not exactly walking friendly, but they are perfect for a little get together where you won’t be walking around too much, just a bit of dancing. They have brought them back into stock in a few different colours and I would definitely recommend hunting them down if they take your fancy.
The black bodysuit is old H & M but pretty much everywhere is selling bodysuits at the moment if you’re looking for something similar.
I teamed it with my pink Guess handbag, beige Missguided blazer and I popped on a red lip ‘cos I’m wild – it’s Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Lipstick in Firestarter for those wanting to be in the know!
